Goed dat je India eens in de kijker zet Jan. Ik zit er al een jaartje in India via tracker IE00BHZRQZ17 en dat is een echte aanrader. Alles wat een ETF moet hebben is daar aanwezig. Rechtstreeks investeren in Indiase bedrijven is voor buitenlanders slechts beperkt mogelijk maar via deze weg kan het wel.

Via welke broker heb je deze ETF gekocht Ben? Wellicht via Amsterdam? Op JustETF kreeg ik de melding dat deze niet beschikbaar is in België. Wellicht fout?

The Franklin FTSE India UCITS ETF seeks to track the FTSE India 30/18 Capped index. The FTSE India 30/18 Capped index tracks Indian companies with large and medium market capitalisation. The largest company in the index is limited to a maximum of 30 percent of the index capitalization, all other index components to a maximum of 18 percent.
The ETF’s TER (total expense ratio) amounts to 0,19% p.a.. The Franklin FTSE India UCITS ETF is the only ETF that tracks the FTSE India 30/18 Capped index. The ETF replicates the performance of the underlying index by full replication (buying all the index constituents). The dividends in the ETF are accumulated and reinvested in the ETF.The Franklin FTSE India UCITS ETF is a large ETF with 765m Euro assets under management. The ETF was launched on 25 juni 2019 and is domiciled in Ierland.

Prima, goede deal! Nu maar hopen dat Modi zijn werk kan verderzetten. Veel hervormingswerk is al gebeurd, maar kan altijd nog beter. Onze nieuwe regeringen zouden er eens een werkbezoek kunnen doen 😁

Ook ik kocht deze tracker FLXI in Februari via Bolero, inmiddels 6,1% gestegen.
Ook ik geloof dat India het beste potentieel heeft in het oosten.

Deze kwam ik tegen: IE00BZCQB185 Op justETF toont hij een vergelijkbaar koersverlof, rendementen vergelijkbaar. Maar de omvang is veel groter. Staat ook in de Bolero ETF playlist. Iemand ervaring?

Ik heb die in portefeuille. Sinds januari +10%. Gekocht via Saxo.

Kosten zijn wel hoger namelijk 0,65%. En de ETF heeft niet alle aandelen uit de korf in bezit maar slechts een selectie. Dit herken je aan de replication method : sampling. Hier heb je een groter risico met de tegenpartij (als die zijn verplichtingen niet zou nakomen). Daarom dat ik enkel in fysieke ETF’s beleg omdat die alles effectief in bezit hebben.
Fund size is inderdaad veel groter maar ik vermoed dat dit komt omdat het van Blackrock is.

Toen ik een paar maanden geleden op zoek was naar een Emerging ETF, heb ik bewust gekozen voor een waar India het 2e grootste land was (na China). Zo ben ik uitgekomen op IE00B4L5YC18.
